Disruptive behavior on campus

If there is an emergency, call 911.

If you encounter a person behaving in a way that is disruptive on campus, but does not seem like an emergency, please report it to the UCPD Dispatch at their non-emergency number: (510) 642-6760. Individuals can be considered disruptive if they display intimidating or inappropriate behavior or are interfering with the use of campus facilities and resources.

Sometimes, non-affiliates may cause disruptions on campus. A "non-affiliate" is any person who is not any of the following: a student, officer, official volunteer, employee, Regent, or emeritus of the University of California or a member of a household authorized to reside in University Property. Whether or not you believe the person who is causing the disturbance is affiliated with the university or not, please report it to UCPD.
