The campus offers a wide variety of academic support, including informational websites, centers where students can also find community, and other offices. Some resources are specific to undergraduate students or to graduate and professional students.

Online resources

The Berkeley Academic Guide provides general information on degree progress for undergraduate students and graduate/professional students.
STEM Training, Activities, and Resources (STAR) is a hub to explore STEM activities, information, opportunities, and networks at UC Berkeley.

Undergraduate student resources

For students with concerns about academic standing, being successful in college, or degree progress, a good place to start with their college or school academic advisor.

Student Learning Center

Supports learners as they navigate the cultural expectations and academic rigor of UC Berkeley, including writing tutoring and workshops.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

Provides students who identify as first-generation, low-income, and/or historically underrepresented college students with the guidance, support, and resources. EOP provides academic counseling(link is external), peer academic counseling(link is external), and other services or programs. The EOP website provides information about academic probation services(link is external).

STEM Excellence through Equity & Diversity (SEED) Scholars Honors Program

Fon supporting and inspiring historically marginalized undergraduate populations majoring in all areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

bridges multicultural resource center

Aims to recruit and retain first-year, transfer, re-entry, and continuing low-income, underserved students of color in higher education by providing resources to students(link is external). It is comprised of seven Recruitment & Retention Centers.

Residential Life Academic Support

Offers multiple services for academic support, including the residential tutoring program.

Graduate Division Academic Progress Advisors

The Graduate Division assists graduate students with degree milestones, proper dissertation and thesis procedures, graduate examinations, and more.

Graduate Division's Inclusive Excellence Hu

The Graduate Division's Inclusive Excellence Hub is a unique, welcoming physical space where underrepresented graduate students can find camaraderie and build multi-disciplinary networks of their peers.
